Life Story Compiler, operated by NarraLife LLC ("NarraLife," "we," "us," or "our"), respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects the people who use the Service to do the same. Almost everything in Life Story Compiler is private, owner-scoped content that only you can see. A small number of surfaces — including the public Lifelore™ archive of firsthand lived-experience interviews — are publicly visible, and this policy explains how a rights-holder can report material they believe infringes their copyright.
We respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This policy is not legal advice.
Filing a DMCA takedown notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act for one) and you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send us a notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) using the form below. To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a direct link is best).
- Your contact information — name, address, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or authorized to act for the owner, of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Please note: knowingly making a material misrepresentation that content is infringing may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). You may also send a written notice to our designated agent at contact@lifestorycompiler.com instead of using the form.
