Signature Strengths — the qualities that show up again and again in how you live, like resilience, curiosity, or loyalty. Recurring Patterns — the rhythms of your life stated in plain words, such as "you tend to take a leap after a stretch of stability" or "you find meaning by making things for other people."
Each strand is short, specific, and grounded in real evidence from your own story.
The Essence Statement: your whole story in one line
At the very heart of your Story DNA sits a single distilled sentence — the one thread that runs through everything. Something like:
"At your core, your story is about finding belonging by building things for the people you love."
This is the line meant to make you stop and think, yes — that's me. Your entire life, compressed into one true sentence.
Every insight shows its proof
Story DNA never tells you who you are from on high and expects you to simply accept it. Every strand shows its evidence. Forming — as a theme recurs across several moments or chapters, it offers tentative named strands, each with evidence and a confirm/refine/reject control, and perhaps a first draft of your Essence Statement. Established — with enough recurring themes, the full reading arrives: strands across every category and a confident Essence Statement.
