AI & Narrative Disclosure
NarraLife™ LLC · Life Story Compiler · Effective: June 19, 2026 · Last updated: July 5, 2026
Introduction
Life Story Compiler, operated by NarraLife LLC ("NarraLife," "we," "us," or "our"), uses artificial intelligence technologies to help you organize, analyze, understand, preserve, and share your life experiences.
AI is used within the Service to identify patterns, generate summaries, create chapters, connect events, detect themes, distill identity, conduct guided interviews, reconstruct reflective conversations with your past or future self, and provide narrative insights drawn from the content you record. This AI & Narrative Disclosure explains how artificial intelligence works within Life Story Compiler and the limitations you should keep in mind when reviewing AI-generated outputs.
AI Features in Life Story Compiler
The following features use artificial intelligence and related technologies:
- Life Story Compiler — the overall application that captures, organizes, and helps you preserve your life story.
- Story Confidence Score — an algorithmic estimate intended to help prioritize events within your story.
- Memory Graph — an automatically generated map of connections between events, people, places, and themes in your story.
- Life Momentum — an AI interpretation of the phases or "seasons" of your life (such as growth, transition, stability, transformation, rest, or struggle), drawn from the content of your story. It reflects what is happening in your life, not your app usage or engagement.
- Character Evolution — conceptual indicators designed to reflect how your experiences and emotions appear to change over time.
- Story DNA — AI-generated insights into your recurring themes, values, and traits.
- Story Threads — AI-detected storylines that gather moments sharing a person, place, or theme across time. Threads are suggestions you can confirm, rename, merge, split, or dismiss — they reflect the content of your story, not how much you write.
- Narrative Forecast — predictive interpretations that suggest possible future chapters or directions based on current patterns.
- Story Passport — a curated, optionally shareable view of your life story.
- Chapter Generation — AI-assisted grouping of entries into narrative chapters with summaries.
- Theme Detection — automated identification of recurring themes across your entries.
- Guided Voice Interview — an AI interviewer that asks adaptive questions and turns your spoken answers into draft entries for your review.
- Heirloom Scanner — when you photograph a physical keepsake such as an old photo, letter, or object, AI forms gentle, tentative guesses about what the item might be. It asks, it never asserts, and it does not identify people.
- Continuum — an AI reconstruction of a grounded version of your past or future self, drawn from your own story, for reflection.
- Kindred — answers questions about your life using only the moments you have recorded, showing your own words back to you with a link to each source.
- Weekly & Annual Story Summaries — AI-generated recaps of your story over time.
- "Your Story" — an AI-synthesized, navigable experience of your whole life story.
- Witness — uses AI to weave memories contributed by multiple people into a shared, multi-perspective chapter.
- Automated Screening — reviews reflections submitted through Cairns before they are delivered.
- Story Intelligence Engine — the underlying system that analyzes your content to power narrative features.
- Life Capture Engine — the system that ingests and structures the experiences you record.
These systems rely on algorithms, machine learning models, statistical inference, and pattern recognition to produce their outputs.
AI-Generated Content Disclosure
All AI-generated outputs are computer-generated interpretations.
Outputs may include:
- Chapters and summaries
- Themes
- Story DNA insights
- Life Momentum interpretations
- Story Passports
- Story Confidence Scores
- Character Evolution insights
- Narrative Forecasts
- Continuum reflections
- Draft entries generated from your spoken answers
- Relationship connections
- Suggested turning points
- Suggested life themes
AI-generated outputs are not factual determinations. They are algorithmic interpretations based on the information available to the system.
Accuracy Disclaimer
AI-generated outputs may be:
- Inaccurate
- Incomplete
- Outdated
- Biased
- Misleading
- Subjective
- Incorrect
The system may:
- Miss important events
- Misclassify events
- Misinterpret context
- Draw inaccurate conclusions
- Detect themes that do not exist
- Fail to recognize meaningful life experiences
You should independently evaluate all outputs.
Narrative Interpretation Disclaimer
Life Story Compiler attempts to organize your experiences into narratives. Human lives are complex.
No algorithm can fully understand a person's experiences, emotions, motivations, beliefs, intentions, or relationships. Generated narratives are intended to support reflection and organization — not to establish objective truth.
Story Confidence Score Disclosure
Story Confidence Scores are proprietary estimates intended to help prioritize events within your story.
Scores do not represent:
- Truth
- Importance
- Value
- Success
- Worth
- Character
Scores are algorithmic estimates only.
Memory Graph Disclosure
Memory Graph connections are generated through automated pattern analysis. These connections may be:
- Incomplete
- Speculative
- Incorrect
Connected events should not be interpreted as verified causal relationships.
Life Momentum Disclosure
Life Momentum reflects an AI interpretation of the phases of your life, drawn from the content of your story — not from how often you use the app.
Life Momentum is not:
- A score, grade, or ranking
- A measure of productivity or engagement
- A judgment of how well you are living your life
Every season — including rest, stability, and struggle — is a valid and meaningful part of a life. There is no "good" or "bad" momentum. Life Momentum is offered to support reflection, not comparison.
Story DNA Disclosure
Story DNA is an AI-generated interpretation of patterns it observes across your story — your recurring themes, values, and traits. It is offered to support self-understanding, and you can confirm, refine, or reject any part of it.
Story DNA is not:
- A psychological assessment
- A personality evaluation
- A clinical or diagnostic measurement
- A professional evaluation
It describes possible patterns, not a verdict on who you are.
Story Threads Disclosure
Story Threads are storylines our system detects by noticing moments that appear to share a person, place, or theme across your story. They are generated through automated pattern analysis and are offered as invitations to reflect, not conclusions.
Story Threads are not:
- A score, grade, or ranking of your memories
- A measure of how active or productive you are
- A verified or complete account of how your moments relate
A detected thread may be incomplete, speculative, or incorrect. You stay the author: you can confirm, rename, merge, split, add or remove moments, or dismiss any thread, and dismissed threads are not resurfaced. A thread reflects the content of your story, not how often you write.
Narrative Forecast Disclosure
Narrative Forecasts are predictive interpretations generated by artificial intelligence. Please read this section carefully.
Forecasts:
- Are not predictions of future events
- Are not guarantees
- Are not professional advice
- Are not scientifically validated forecasts
Forecasts represent possible interpretations of current patterns. Actual outcomes may differ significantly.
Character Evolution Disclosure
Character Evolution metrics are conceptual indicators designed to support self-reflection. These metrics are not:
- Psychological assessments
- Personality evaluations
- Clinical measurements
- Professional evaluations
Continuum Disclosure
Continuum reconstructs a grounded version of your past or future self, drawn from the content of your own story, so you can reflect through conversation. Please read this section carefully.
A Continuum conversation is not:
- An actual person, consciousness, or your real past or future self
- A factual record of who you were or a prediction of who you will be
- A guarantee of any future outcome
- Professional advice of any kind
The "past self" reflects only the experiences and perspective you had recorded up to that point in your story; it does not know anything beyond it. The "future self" represents possibility, not prophecy. Continuum is an interpretive, AI-generated reflection tool. Outputs are imagined and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect, and should be considered thoughtfully and at your own pace.
Guided Voice Interview Disclosure
The guided voice interview uses AI to ask adaptive questions and to turn your spoken answers into draft entries. The questions and drafts are AI-generated and may be imperfect, incomplete, or off-base. You review every draft and decide what to save — nothing is added to your story without your action.
Heirloom Scanner Disclosure
The Heirloom Scanner lets you photograph a physical keepsake — such as an old photo, letter, document, or object — so the app can help you tell its story. When you scan an item, AI examines the photo and forms tentative guesses only about what it might be. It is designed to ask, never assert.
- Guesses, not facts. Anything the AI notes about a scanned item is a tentative possibility meant to prompt your own memory — not a factual caption, date, provenance, or history.
- It may read visible text. The scanner may read and transcribe text that is plainly visible on an item, such as words written on a letter or postcard, to help you recall it.
- No identifying people. The Heirloom Scanner does not identify, name, or describe any person who may appear in a photograph, and does not perform facial recognition or other biometric analysis.
- You stay the author. The scanner is only a starting point for your own memories. You decide what, if anything, becomes part of your story.
Kindred Disclosure
Kindred lets you ask questions about your own life story and receive answers assembled from the content you have captured. It is built around a simple, firm principle: it tells the truth about what you actually recorded, and never puts words in your mouth.
- Only your own content. Kindred answers only from what you have captured — your entries, and where available your own voice recordings and photos. It does not add outside facts.
- It never fabricates. Kindred does not invent memories, events, opinions, or statements. When your content does not answer a question, it will tell you so rather than making something up. "You haven't recorded anything about this" is a valid answer.
- Your words stay yours. When Kindred surfaces something you wrote or recorded, it shows your actual words, voice, or photo. Any connecting narration the AI provides is clearly presented as narration — it is not attributed to you and is not "you speaking."
- Your real voice only. When Kindred plays a recording, it is your actual recording. Kindred does not synthesize, clone, or generate your voice, and never creates audio of you saying something you did not record.
- Still AI, still imperfect. Kindred's retrieval, ordering, and framing can be incomplete or mistaken. Review its outputs; don't treat them as a complete or authoritative account.
Kindred is currently for your own personal use — asking your own story. Features that would let other people access or ask your story are not currently offered.

Life Story Compiler does not provide:
- Medical advice
- Mental health advice
